My first position was with Highways Engineering and Technical Services in West Yorkshire, where as Senior Engineer, I was responsible for the management and financial control of civil engineering contracts including design/supervision of bridge/highway construction projects. My second position was with RG Group, progressing through Project Manager, Contracts Manager positions to Associate Director, leading a team undertaking retail and commercial projects. My last position prior to Seddon, was with Styles and Wood, where as Business Unit Lead, I led the delivery of retail, leisure and commercial frameworks and projects.
I love construction and feel privileged to be working in our industry. I believe good client relationships and becoming an extension of your client’s business, is crucial to success, in addition to positivity, a passion for construction and a can-do attitude in everything we do. Business growth starts from within and I believe in growing and developing people to support business growth is essential. I think the diversity of my experience across very differing businesses and sectors allows me to bring expertise in strategic leadership and project management, all of which contribute to driving growth within our construction business.
